When will my bags be picked up?
Once the full balance has been paid, we will contact you to schedule the drop off/pick up date and location.
How much is the deposit?
For standard and concierge service, in order to book your float loader a $60 deposit is required.
For VIP Experience (full float service), a $60 deposit must be made to initiate the process, and a 50% deposit is required upon execution of a full float agreement. Floats must have a minimum of 30 riders to be eligible for the VIP Experience service.
When is the balance due?
The full balance must be paid no later than 7 days prior to your parade date. No exceptions. Customers will receive an invoice via email for the balance including any additional deluxe services selected and any applicable discounts.
Is the deposit refundable?
Customers may cancel their reservation up to 7 business days prior to the parade; however, the deposit is non-refundable. In the event of a cancellation, the balance will be refunded (less the deposit) within 3 business days upon receipt of a cancellation request received via email at info@floatloaders.com.In the event that Float Loaders needs to cancel your reservation, we will refund the full deposit and balance. Parades canceled within 48 hours of the roll time due to weather or other circumstances outside the krewe's control will receive a full refund less a $25 convenience fee. Refunds may take 5 to 7 business days to process.
What happens if my float position is not labeled?
Prior to the scheduled pick up, we will ask you to confirm your float number and position. Your Float Loader will not load your throws if your position is not clearly labeled inside the float upon arrival. Your bags will be dropped off outside your float and you will be notified.
Is there a limit on the amount of bags my Float Loader will pick up?
Yes. Your Float Loader will not pick up any loose items. All items must be bagged and labeled with the rider's name and float name. The first 15 bags are free. A $5 charge will apply for each additional bag.
When is it too late to make a reservation?
Reservations within 10 business days of your parade may be accepted based on our availability. The full non-refundable fee must accompany the reservation in order to reserve a Float Loader during this window. Rates are subject to increase.
